GULF SHORES, Ala. - The Lyon Scots softball team finished their games in the Gulf Coast Invite tournament with a 3-1 loss to Thomas University on Saturday afternoon.
The Scots (0-10) took a 1-0 lead in the third inning when
Celsey Wood scored on a double by
Georgia Holzer.Â
Thomas University took the lead in the fourth inning with two runs and tacked on another run in the fifth inning for the win.
Wood was 2-for-4Â in the game with one run scored.
Addison Harmon was 1-for-4, Holzer was 2-for-3 with a run batted in and
Trinity Arrambide was 1-for-2.Â
