FULTON, MO. - The Lyon College men's soccer Scots fell to the William Woods Owls 2-1 on Tuesday afternoon in American Midwest Conference play in Fulton, Missouri.
The Scots (3-11-3, 2-4-1) fell behind 2-0 in the second half before a goal at the 73:51 mark of the second half by
Aidan McGeown.Â
The Scots had 10 shots and six of them were on-goal.
Andrei Galca had three shots and two on-goal,
Juan Rosillo had two shots on-goal,
Leonardo Galdino had one shot on-goal, McGeown had three shots one of which was on-goal and found the net and
Jevanni Hinkson had one shot in the match.
Dan Huff had six saves as the Lyon College goalie.
William Woods scored its first goal at the 54:10 mark of the second half and the second goal came at the 71:44 mark.Â
Minutes later, McGeown kicked in the Scots only goal, then Rosillo had a shot that was saved by the goalie. A shot by Galaca was saved at the 77:28 mark and Rosillo had another shot on-goal saved at the 88:26 mark.
