ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The Lyon College women's soccer team gave up four goals in the first half and two in the second to drop a 6-0 decision to the University of Health, Sciences and Pharmacy Eutectics on Saturday afternoon in St. Louis.
Lyon College (1-11-0, 0-4-0) had seven attacks at the goal and four on-goal shots in the match.
Abby Ponder had two attacks and one shot on-goal,
Zoe Papazoglou had one on-goal kick,
Emily Betzold took three shot and one was on-goal and
Taylor Hammons had one shot on-goal for the Scots.

Rhyan Hioki had three saves for Lyon College.
Behind 1-0 early in the first half, Hammons shot on-goal was saved at the 10:29 mark and a corner kick from Ponder two minutes later didn't take. The Eutectics were up 3-0 when Ponder had a shot on-goal that went just wide, the had another that was saved by the UHSP goalie at the 23:11 mark. The Eutectics added another goal to lead 4-0 at halftime.
UHSP scored in the first seconds of the second period, before Papazoglou took her shot on-goal at the 53:43 mark. Then Betzold had a shot saved by the goalie and a second shot in less than 17 seconds went just wide right.
Addy Lovell had a corner kick at the 66:00 minute mark, but the Eutectics kicked in their sixth goal of the game a minute later.
The game ended after another corner kick from Ponder.
