HANNIBAL, Mo. - The Lyon College men's soccer team evened its record at 1-1 in the American Midwest Conference with a 2-0 win at Hannibal-LaGrange on Saturday afternoon.
The Scots (2-8-2, 1-1) got goals from
Leonardo Galdino and
Yannick Zwiebel in the first half of the game to take a 2-0 lead. Lyon College held off a second half rally to keep Hannibal-LaGrange scoreless.
Lyon College had six shots on goal, two by
Jevanni Hinkson and one kick each from Zwiebel, Galdino,
Felipe Teruel and
Andrei Galca. In total, the Scots had 13 attempts with kicks from
Aidan McGeown, Galca, two from Teruel,
Ronaldo Jacobs, two from Hinkson, three from Galdino, one from
Tavaris Wellington and two from Zwiebel.Â
Hinkson was credited with an assist in the match, while Lyon College goalkeeper
Dan Huff made one save for the entire contest.Â
