Scots Fall to NCAA Division I UAPB, 5-0

The Lyon College women’s soccer team fell, 5-0, to NCAA Division I University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff

BATESVILLE, Ark. – The Lyon College women's soccer team faced NCAA Division I University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Saturday afternoon at Huser Field. The Scots battled against the Lady Lions, but came up short, 5-0.

UAPB improved to 2-3 with the win, while the Scots fell to 0-2.

UAPB netted three goals in the first half and added two more goals over the final 45 minutes.

Kate Whitenton led the Scots with two shots in the game.

Rhyan Hioki made seven saves in goal for Lyon.

The Scots will host Texas A&M-Texarkana on Monday at 5 p.m.
