BATESVILLE, Ark. – The Scots used one first-half goal and a trio of second-half goals to defeat Harris-Stowe State University by a score of 4-0 on Friday.
Lyon moves to 6-4-1 overall, 5-2 in the AMC, while Harris-Stowe State University drops to 1-5-1 overall, 0-3-1 in the AMC.
Before the contest, the Scots honored seven seniors -
Vicente Alamos,
Diego Mendez,
Tom Wackens,
Sebastian Musiet,
Ramon Patino,

Ryan Hill.
GAME FLOW
The Scots wasted no time as
Marcos Fernandez sent a corner kick into the box just nine minutes into the match.
Jonathan Carrere was the first to the ball and tapped a shot into the back of the net, giving Lyon a 1-0 lead. The score would remain 1-0 in favor of the Scots as the halftime whistle sounded.
In the 56
th minute,
Thei Tlo dribbled the ball up the sideline and slid a cross to
Leo Galdino just outside the top of the box. Galdino struck a shot into the right corner of the goal, doubling Lyon's advantage. Galdino would score once more in the 82
nd minute as
Ricardo Navia delivered a nice pass to Galdino. Galdino used some shifty moves to get past a couple HSSU defender's and struck a shot into the back of the net. Just five minutes later, Galdino returned the favor with a nice pass to a cutting
Ricardo Navia. Navia took one touch and bent a shot into the back of the net, giving Lyon a 4-0 victory over the Hornets on Friday.

The Scots open play in the American Midwest Conference Tournament. Lyon has earned the No. 3 seed and will host the opening round match against the No. 6 seeded Central Baptist College Mustangs on April 10 at 1:00 p.m.
