CONWAY, Ark. – The Scots used one first-half goal and a pair of second-half goals to defeat Central Baptist College by a score of 3-1 on Monday.
Lyon moves to 4-5 overall, 4-3 in the AMC, while Central Baptist College drops to 5-8 overall, 4-5 in the AMC.

The match remained scoreless until the 37
th minute as
Sarah Evans delivered a shot into the back of the net, giving Lyon a 1-0 advantage. The Scots would take a 1-0 lead into halftime.
Central Baptist College's Marcela Bueno scored an early second-half goal, knotting the match at one. The Scots, though, would break the tie as
Alexandria Denton struck a shot into the back of the net, giving Lyon a 2-1 lead. Just four minutes later, Lyon would tack on an insurance goal as
Sarah Evans delivered a nice pass to
Caitlynn Porter. Porter, then found a cutting
Hailey Gonzales. Gonzales beat the goalie with her shot and gave the Scots a 3-1 lead. The defense of the Scots continued to stymie the Mustangs, en route to a 3-1 victory over Central Baptist College on Monday.
