HANNIBAL, Mo. - The Lyon College men's wrestling team traveled to Missouri for the AMC Duals on Saturday. The Scots competed in four duals against Lincoln College, Missouri Baptist University, Central Baptist College, and (RV) Williams Baptist University.

The Scots began the day with a dual against Lincoln College. In the 157-pound weight class, Carlos Cuevas took the mat against Lincoln College's Easton Norris. Cuevas executed flawlessly and pinned Norris at the 3:43 mark. The Lynx, though, would go on to defeat Lyon, 37-12.

In Lyon's third match of the afternoon, the Scots squared off with Central Baptist College. In the 157-pound weight class, Cuevas went up against CBC's Christian Richer. Cuevas made quick work of Richer, earning his second pin of the day and giving the Scots six points. Lyon would go on to defeat the Mustangs by a score of 30-12.

Jacob Lawrinenko, Omar Gasmann, and Raul Gonzalez Jr. also competed in their respective weight classes at the AMC Duals on Saturday.

Up Next: Lyon will travel to Oklahoma for a pair of duals on Jan. 21 against Oklahoma Wesleyan University and (RV) Wayland Baptist University.
