BATESVILLE, Ark. – The 21st-ranked Lyon College baseball team has altered its schedule for this week. The Scots will now host six games at Fred Wann Field between Mar. 10-13. Monday's JV doubleheader against Williams Baptist has been postponed to a later date.
The Scots were originally scheduled to play an American Midwest Conference doubleheader at No. 8 Freed-Hardeman on Tuesday, but due to inclement weather projected in the forecast in Henderson, Tenn., Lyon will now be the host of Tuesday's twin bill. The Scots and Lions will open up the doubleheader at noon at Fred Wann Field. Tuesday's doubleheader has been named the AMC "Games of the Week."
This weekend's series against Arlington Baptist has been canceled, but the Scots will now face a new opponent in Champion Christian College on Thursday and Friday. The Scots and Tigers will play a doubleheader at noon each day at Fred Wann Field.
