BATESVILLE, Ark. – The 11th-ranked Lyon College women's basketball team is coming off an impressive victory as the Scots defeated No. 12 Freed-Hardeman, 65-62, on a bucket by Liz Henderson in the final seconds on Tuesday night. The Scots will now shift their focus to the weekend as they will travel to Park on Saturday for a game at 1 p.m.

THE MATCHUP
LYON: The Scots improved to 24-2 (20-1 AMC) with the win over the Lady Lions. Henderson recorded her second double-double of the season on Tuesday against FHU as she finished with a team-high 22 points to go along with a team-high 10 rebounds. For the season, Henderson is averaging 14.4 points per game, which is second-best for the Scots this season. Fellow senior, Madison Riley, leads the team at 14.4 points per game. Riley, who is already the program's all-time career assist leader, needs five more assists to reach 500 for her career.
PARK: The Pirates enter the weekend at 6-17 (3-17 AMC) and will host Central Baptist College tonight. Sarah Lamp is the lone player for Park averaging double figures in scoring this season at 10.6 points per game. Lamp is also the team's leading rebounder at 6.5 boards per game.
SERIES HISTORY
The Scots are 14-2 all-time against the Pirates. The Scots earned a convincing win over the Pirates earlier this season on Jan. 11 as Lyon defeated Park, 90-52, at home.
UP NEXT FOR THE SCOTS
Following Saturday's game at Park, the Scots will host their final two games of the 2019-20 regular season. The Scots will host St. Louis College of Pharmacy on Thursday night before taking on Columbia College on Saturday for Senior Day.
