BATESVILLE, Ark. – Following its second four-game road trip of the season, the 11th-ranked Lyon College women's basketball team will return home for a brief stint as the Scots will host No. 12 Freed-Hardeman on Tuesday night in the American Midwest Conference "Game of the Week." Tuesday's game will tip-off at 5:30 p.m. and will also be Faculty/Staff Appreciation Night as all Lyon College faculty and staff members present during the game will be recognized at halftime.

THE MATCHUP
LYON: The Scots are 23-2 (19-1 AMC), and are riding an eight-game winning streak entering Tuesday night's matchup. Four Scots are averaging double figures in scoring this season, led by Madison Riley's team-high 15.0 points per game. Fellow senior, Liz Henderson, is second on the team in scoring, averaging 14.1 points per game. The two seniors recently won the 100th game of their career at Lyon, in a 66-51 victory at Central Baptist College this past weekend. Katie Turner and Jade Giron are the other two Scots averaging double figures in scoring at 11.6 and 10.8 points per game, respectively.
FHU: Freed-Hardeman is 20-5 (17-2 AMC), and currently trails the Scots, who sit atop the conference standings, by 1.5 games. Haylee Croom is the go-to player for FHU as she is averaging a double-double this season with 17.0 points per game and 11.8 rebounds per game. Alyssa LeMay and Chynia Brooks play a key role in the offense as well as both players are averaging double figures in scoring at 12.4 and 12.0 points per game.
SERIES HISTORY
The Scots are 9-26 all-time against the Lady Lions after Lyon earned a 58-51 victory at then-No. 9 FHU on Jan. 7 in Henderson, Tenn.
UP NEXT FOR THE SCOTS
Following Tuesday's game against FHU, the Scots will take on Park on Saturday in their final road game of the 2019-20 regular season. Tip-off for Saturday's game at Park is set for 1 p.m.
