BATESVILLE, Ark. – The ninth-ranked Lyon College women's wrestling team will host their senior day match against No. 7 University of the Cumberlands inside Becknell Gymnasium tomorrow. This dual will be Lyon's "Takedown for Troops" event to help raise money for The Wounded Warrior Project. Before the dual, the Scots will recognize their two seniors – Vanesa Contreras and Elissa Douglass.

Last time the Scots were on the mat, Lyon put together a strong showing at the Bearcat Open in Lebanon, Illinois. Jasmine Hernandez and Elissa Douglass led the charge for the visitors from Batesville as Hernandez secured third place in the 123-pound weight class, while Douglass earned fourth place in the 143-pound weight division.

UP NEXT
Lyon will travel to Nebraska next weekend to participate in the Lady Warrior Open. The tournament will take place at Midland University with the first matches beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 22^nd.
