PARKVILLE, Mo. – The Lyon College volleyball team battled one of the NAIA's best volleyball programs, No. 3 Park University, this afternoon. The Scots did not back down as they played aggressively and pushed the Pirates in each set. However, Park's Nada Meawad's 16 kills proved too much for Lyon as the Pirates prevailed in three sets (25-19, 25-15, 25-9).
Lyon drops to 10-7 on the season and 2-2 in the American Midwest Conference, while No. 3 Park University improves to 13-2 overall and 3-0 in conference play.
