Columbia, Mo. – Columbia College used three second-half goals to defeat Lyon College by a score of 3-2 Friday afternoon.
Lyon moves to 15-5-1 overall, while Columbia College extends their unblemished record to 20-0 on the year.

The Scots got on the scoreboard first as
Marcos Fernandez struck a shot past the goalie into the back of the net, giving Lyon a 1-0 lead. In the 31
st minute,
Emanuel Santos delivered a great pass to
Marcos Fernandez. Fernandez slid the ball into the back of the net, doubling Lyon's advantage. The score would remain 2-0 in favor of the Scots heading into the second half.
In the second half, the Cougars responded with a goal of their own. In the 51
st minute, Lesia Thetsane scored to pull the Cougars to within one. Thetsane would score again in the 61
st minute, knotting the match at two. In the 66
th minute, Columbia's Nick Brandt collected a rebound and slid the ball into the back of the net, giving CC a 3-2 lead. The Scots attempted to respond, but were unable and fell to Columbia College by a score of 3-2 in the finals of the AMC Tournament.
