BATESVILLE, Ark. – The distance for a three-pointer in college basketball is 20 feet, nine inches – a distance that has become routine for Lyon College women's basketball senior guard Ali Tucker. With her first three-pointer in the game, Tucker became the all-time leader for career three-pointers made in Lyon College women's basketball history as the 22nd-ranked Scots defeated Park, 90-43, on Thursday night inside Becknell Gymnasium. The Scots improved their winning streak to four games with the victory over Park and moved to 16-3 (12-2 American Midwest Conference), while Park fell to 7-11 (6-8 AMC).

Tucker passed April Carter, who made 259 threes during her career from 2004-08. Tucker finished the game with five three-pointers and has made 264 threes for her career.

The opening three by Tucker gave the Scots all the momentum right from the beginning as Lyon jumped out to a 14-0 lead in the first four minutes. The Pirates cut the deficit to single-digits with a 7-2 run, only to see the Scots answer back with another big run. Liz Henderson started the run for the Scots with a bucket at the 3:52 mark as Lyon ended the first period on a 16-2 run.

The second and third quarters had a similar story as the opening period. Lyon outscored the Pirates, 22-10, in the second quarter and followed it up with a 20-9 advantage in the third.

Whitney Wagganer and Kaleah Davis pushed the Scots lead to 83-36 midway through the final quarter as the duo combined for nine points before Marleigh Dodson gave the Scots their largest lead of the game at 85-36 with a bucket. The Scots cruised the rest of the way for the 47-point victory.

Tucker finished with a game-high 18 points, while Samantha French and Henderson scored in double figures with 16 and 11 points, respectively. Cautia Wadood led the Pirates with 13 points.

Prior to the game, Henderson was honored for scoring her 1,000th point this past Saturday against Hannibal-LaGrange.

The Scots will welcome Stephens College to Becknell Gymnasium for another American Midwest Conference matchup on Saturday at 1 p.m.
