GAME FLOW
Evangel University:
The Crusaders carried the momentum they gained from their last match into this matchup against the Scots. Heather Gahm, Bridget Petersen, and Kara Finkbiner looked dominant today combining for 32 kills to help lead EU to a victory over Lyon. Michayla Shanks had a team high 7 kills and 11 digs, while Kaitlyn Jackson recorded 9 assists.
College of the Ozarks:
The Scots were looking to atone for their first loss of the season against C of O in this rematch. Lyon battled early and often against the Lady Bobcats as the first set went back and forth. The Scots rallied from a 24-22 deficit to take the first set 26-24 sealed by a Michayla Shanks kill that was assisted by Kaitlyn Jackson. However, C of O's combination of Rielly Dobbs (32 assists) and Ryley Thixton (9 kills) proved to be too much for the Scots in the next three sets as the Lady Bobcats won in four sets.
