GAME FLOW
The first set was very tight, but the Hornets were able to win the first 25-22. Lyon regrouped and defeated the Scots in the next two sets by a combined total of four points. The sets finished with identical scores (25-23, 25-23). Lyon's great conditioning and depth showed up in the fourth set as the Scots took the fourth set 25-13 to defeat the Hornets. Lyon used terrific performances by several players, highlighted by four Scots recording double digit assist totals in the match – Elizabeth Bairett (14), Kendra Davidson (13), Ellie Embry (10), and Kaitlyn Jackson (10).

WHAT'S AHEAD FOR THE SCOTS
Lyon returns home for their first home matches of the season next Friday and Saturday. The Scots will welcome William Woods University to Becknell Gymnasium for a 7:00 p.m. start on Sep. 21. The following day, the Scots will battle No. 1 Park University at 1:00 p.m.
