GAME FLOW
Tougaloo College: The Scots were all over the court in the opening set winning 25-13. Lyon and Tougaloo split the next two sets. However, the Scots took the fourth set and match. Lyon was led with great passing by Kaitlyn Jackson (24 assists) and Kendra Davidson (16 assists).
Philander-Smith College: The Scots were aggressive early and often, leading to a three set victory against the Lady Panthers. Maggee Hobson led the way for the Scots with 10 kills, while Michayla Shanks totaled a team best 6 aces.

Tougaloo College:
- Kaitlyn Jackson recorded a game high 24 assists, while also adding 6 digs.
- Kendra Kelley led Lyon with 11 kills, while Gracen Ratliff and Katherine Jeane both etched 8.
- Lyon totaled 21 more kills and 19 more assists than the Lady Bulldogs.
Philander-Smith College:
- Maggee Hobson recorded a team best 10 kills.
- Michayla Shanks had a game high 6 aces for the Scots.
- Lyon totaled 20 aces in the match, while they held PSC to only 1.

WHAT'S AHEAD FOR THE SCOTS
The Scots travel to Evangel University on Sep. 7 to compete in the Evangel Volleyball Classic. Lyon will play Evangel at 3:00 p.m. and College of the Ozarks at 5:00 p.m. The following day, the Scots will battle Tabor College at 10:00 a.m. and Judson University at 12:00 p.m.
