GAME FLOW
LSU-Alexandria opened the scoring with a goal in the 11th minute as Rade Pavic struck a shot in the bottom left corner of the goal. The Scots, however, responded just 10 minutes later as Vitor Fujiwara (SO/Apucarana, Brazil) converted on a penalty kick. Both defenses really stiffened up and at the half the score was knotted at one.
The second half started very similar to the first half as the Generals would score another quick goal - this one in the 52nd minute from Gylles Mitchel. The Scots would create some opportunities later in the second half, but were unsuccessful in finding the back of the net. Lyon would eventually fall 2-1 to the Generals in the opening match of the season.
