GAME FLOW
John Brown and Lyon College both had opportunities in the first half, but none found the back of the net. The stingy defense of the Scots frustrated the Golden Eagles in the opening half as the score remained tied entering the second half.
The second half began very similar to the first as both defenses were very strong. The match remained scoreless until the 82nd minute off the foot of John Brown's David Moots. Moots took one touch inside the box and ripped a shot that found the back of the net. The Scots searched for an equalizer, but were unsuccessful and lost 1-0 to the Golden Eagles.
