GAME FLOW 
In the first set, Lyon took a 15-5 lead behind strong defense, accurate passing, and solid hitting. The Scots would continue their excellent play throughout the set, winning 25-11.

Lyon got off to another quick start in the second set by taking an 11-5 advantage. The Mustangs would battle back throughout the remainder of the set, but they never got the score closer than 20-16. The Scots closed out the second off one of Maggee Hobson's 10 kills tonight, assisted by Ellie Embry.

The third set was similar to the first two as the visitors jetted out to a 9-3 lead. CBC regained their composure, and got the set back to a 12-10 score by rattling off five straight points. However, the Scots would squash any thought of a comeback as Lyon held a comfortable lead the rest of the way. The Scots clinched the match on a kill by Courtney Erby off a nice set by Kendra Davidson.

KEY STATISTICS
- Maggee Hobson tied her single match season-high of 10 kills, while Gracen Ratliff added 9.

- Kaitlyn Jackson recorded a team-high 14 assists on the night.

- Michayla Shanks etched a game-high 12 digs, while Madisson Williams was terrific at the service line as she finished with 4 aces.

- The Scots overpowered the Mustangs in kills 40-17 and aces 9-4.

"Tonight was a great ending to a successful week of play. Between the heat in the gym and an active crowd, we did not need anymore adversity. The ladies stayed focused, competed at a high clip and were able to get out in straight sets. Everyone contributed to a great week of volleyball.  Good work ladies!" - Coach Ray Green

The Scots travel to Searcy to face NCAA Division II Harding University at 6:00 p.m. on Oct. 9.
