GAME FLOW 
The Scots jumped out to an early 1-0 advantage as Shelby Straight delivered a great through ball to Joyce Barbosa. Barbosa took one touch and chipped it passed the goalie. The Stars, however, would answer right back just two minutes later. In the 24^th minute, Sarah Malmros tied up the game as she took a shot from well outside the box that rocketed into the top corner of the goal. The Scots created several chances before the half, but were unsuccessful and the score remained tied entering the second half. Lyon outshot Stephens College 16-5 in the first half.

The second half started off very similar to the first as the Scots would score the first goal of the second stanza. In the 54^th minute, Hailey Gonzales headed in a goal off a rebound, giving the Scots a 2-1 advantage. The score would remain 2-1 until the 66^th minute as the Scots scored three goals in three minutes. In the 66^th minute, Barbosa converted a penalty kick due to a handball in the box by Stephens College. Just one minute later, Barbosa would finish another penalty kick via a foul in the box by Stephens. This goal gave Joyce Barbosa a hat trick on the afternoon. In the 68^th minute, Menthe Steensma took a shot that was deflected by the goalie. Judith Flores would get to the loose ball and fire a shot into the back of the net, giving the Scots a 5-1 lead. Lyon's defense was superb all afternoon, earning the Scots 5-1 victory over Stephens College.

KEY STATISTICS
- Joyce Barbosa now has 16 goals on the year, surpassing last season's mark of 14. Barbosa is now second all-time in career goals scored in Lyon College History, four goals back of the leader, Anja Klotzle. Klotzle finished her Lyon College career with 51 goals, while Joyce Barbosa currently has tallied 47.   
- Lyon goalie, Claire Coley, recorded her four saves on the afternoon.
- Lyon outshot Stephens College 34-9.
