GAME FLOW
Arkansas Monticello roared out of the gate with excellent setting and aggressive hitting. The Blossoms gained the momentum early, and they would continue to ride that momentum to a 25-8 first set victory.
In the second stanza, UAM bolted out to another early lead. This time, though, Lyon fought back cutting into the Blossom's lead. However, UAM would win the second set, 25-18.
The third frame was the most competitive of the night as the Scots and Blossoms exchanged leads in the early going. This time, the Scots would get the better of UAM as Lyon took the third set, 25-21.
In the fourth set, the home team got back to their aggressive style of play to take an early lead. While the Scots tried to cut into the deficit, UAM had answers for everything the Scots threw at them as the Blossoms won the fourth set by a score of 25-15 and match, 3-1.

COACH'S CORNER
"UAM was a bit more physical than we were tonight. Their offense was the fastest we have seen this season. We did manage to take a set which was reassuring as we get back into conference play this weekend." – Coach
Ray Green
