Omar, a Lyon College graduate, was twice named All-Conference and Academic All-Conference. Prior to joining the Scots, Omar played at Tacoma Community College where he received the Athletic and Academic Excellence Award.

Originally from Mexico, Omar was a part of the historic youth academies at clubs Cruz Azul and Pumas.
