Mike Gregory will serve as the Assistant Head Coach, Special Teams Coordinator and Quarterback Coach in his first season at Lyon in 2018.
Prior to coming to Lyon, Gregory served as the Head Football Coach at Tampa Catholic High School in Tampa, Fla. for the past five seasons. During his time at Tampa Catholic, Gregory compiled an overall record of 36-21, including three District Championships, two Regional Champions and two appearances in the FHSAA Class 3A State Semifinals (2013 and 2015) - losing to the eventual State Champions Jacksonville Trinity Christian both times.
Gregory served as the Offensive Coordinator and Quarterback Coach at Tampa Catholic for four seasons before his promotion to head coach. During his first season coaching the quarterbacks, Tampa Catholic appeared in the FHSAA 2B State Championship Game in 2009.
During his time at Tampa Catholic, Gregory coached over 15 NCAA Division I (FBS) signees and had 27 players in total go on to play college football while he was the head coach at TC.
Prior to coaching at Tampa Catholic, Gregory served as the Quarterback Coach for three years at University High School in Orlando, Fla. from 2006-2008.
Gregory graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2009.
