Kyle Goldman, a native of Los Angeles, California, is excited to join the Lyon College football staff as the Linebackers Coach and Film Coordinator. This will be his first year at Lyon College, bringing his expertise and passion for the game to the team.
Before arriving at Lyon College, Goldman honed his coaching skills as the Running Backs Coach at Union College in Schenectady, NY in 2021. However, his connection with Union College goes beyond coaching, as he also played as a Running Back and Long Snapper for the team from 2017 to 2020. His experience as a player allows him to bring a unique perspective and understanding to his coaching role.
Goldman holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience from Union College, demonstrating his dedication to both academics and athletics during his time there. He is a firm believer in the importance of mental and physical preparation for success on and off the field.
With a well-rounded background and a passion for coaching and teaching, Goldman brings a wealth of knowledge and dedication to his role as the Defensive Assistant at Lyon College. His ability to analyze film, design practice plans, and develop players will be instrumental in shaping the team's defensive strategy.
Outside of football and veterinary medicine, Goldman enjoys staying active and engaged. During his time at Union College, he was an active member of the football team, participating in various activities and societies.
As a Defensive Assistant, Kyle Goldman is committed to helping the Lyon College football team excel on the field and supporting the development and growth of the players both athletically and personally. His experience, education, and dedication make him an invaluable asset to the coaching staff and the team as a whole.
