Jairus Marlow enters his year on the Lyon College football staff in 2020-21. He will serve as the Defensive Backs Coach/Special Teams Coordinator.
Marlow comes to Lyon after most recently serving as the Defensive Backs Coach/Defensive Coordinator at Gannon University. Prior to that role, he was the Defensive Backs coach/Pass Game Coordinator. In the 2019 season, Gannon created 22 turnovers, including 16 of those coming from the secondary with a defensive touchdown. Two defensive backs earned Player of the Week honors. In the 2018 season, the Gannon secondary created 13 turnovers in 11 games with one touchdown. Marlow coached second-team all-conference defensive back Martell Davis.
Prior to his stint at Gannon, Marlow served as the Cornerbacks Coach at MacMurray College.
During his coaching career, Marlow also served as a Football Offensive Intern at Saint Vincent College and a Defensive Backs Coach at Jupiter High School in Jupiter, Fla.
