Former University of Arkansas Razorback De’Anthony Curtis was named the running backs coach of the Lyon College football squad in the summer of 2015. He added the duties as Special Teams Coordinator in 2016.
Prior to arriving at Lyon, Curtis was the running back consultant at Camden High School in Camden, Arkansas. While at Camden, Curtis mentored and coached players, led team and individual workouts and guided athletes through the recruiting process.
Curtis received his B.A. in Criminal Justice from Arkansas in 2012, where he was a wide receiver, running back and cornerback for the football team. During his time at Arkansas, Curtis accumulated 198 rushing yards, 168 receiving yards, and two touchdowns.
After graduating from Arkansas, Curtis signed as a rookie free agent with the National Football League’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers, where he appeared in three NFL games in August 2012.
Curtis has also participated in a number of volunteer work projects, including visiting elementary schools and visiting patients at Children’s Hospital. Curtis was a part of Lift Up America, Joplin Clean Up, Library Clean Up, and the Boys and Girls Club, while attending Arkansas.
