Lyon College

Raven Wright, from Maumelle, Arkansas, is a Lyon College cheerleader and a member of the Scots track and field team.
She is majoring in Secondary Education and English at Lyon and is a graduate of Maumelle High School where she participated in the Hornets’ track and cross country in the 5A state classification.
While at Maumelle High, Wright was a member of the National Honor Society and was an Honor Graduate. Some of her activities outside of athletics are BETA Club, DECA, Debate and Forensics, yearbook staff and theatrical dance.
Wright earned a varsity letter in track for the Hornets and posted an All-District/All-Conference with times of 1:36 in the 400 meters and 3:16 in the 800-meter run. She was also All-District/All-Conference on Maumelle’s cross-country team by putting in a fast time of 28:03 in the 5K event.
