Jacob Huffman

Lyon College head baseball coach Tony Roepcke has announced on July 1, 2019, that former Scot, Jacob Huffman, will return to the coaching staff as an assistant coach. Huffman will assist with recruiting and player development and serve primarily as the pitching coach. Huffman recently served as a graduate assistant on the coaching staff at Oklahoma Wesleyan. 
 
During the 2019 season at Oklahoma Wesleyan, under the direction of former Lyon College head baseball coach Kirk Kelley, Huffman served as the co-Recruiting Coordinator and assistant pitching coach. The Eagles finished the season at 45-11, which included a berth in the NAIA Baseball National Championship Opening Round. As a team, the Eagles had a 3.89 earned run average.
 
Huffman served as an assistant coach on the staff at Lyon College during the 2018 season after a four-year playing career for the Scots. During his senior season in 2017, Huffman posted a 2.70 ERA in 15 appearances out of the bullpen.
