A defensive battle ends in a tie against Greenville

Batesville, AR – A defensive battle against the Greenville University Panthers ends in a 0-0 tie. After the tough battle, Scots are now 4-3-3 and 1-0-1 in conference play
 
The Scots fired off six shots with two going on target. Inaki Terra led for the Scots in shots with two and one going on target. Tiago Donadon, Roman Magnanelli, Harrison Craig, and Matheus Nunes all tallied one shot. Megale Henrique started in net and kept the score at zero with four saves.
 
Lyon displayed tactical discipline and strong defensive during a competitive, scoreless first half against Greenville. Henrique Megale anchored the Scots', delivering a save in the forty-first minute to deny a shot and keep the Panthers off the scoreboard. Offensively, the Scots generated multiple chances, highlighted by an early strike from Inaki Terra and a powerful shot on target from Tiago Donadon that tested the Panthers keeper in the twenty-fourth minute. Defensively, Salvador Fernandez, Roman Magnanelli, and Mateus Rezende absorbed heavy transition pressure across the opening forty-five minutes. Offensively, the Scots continually pushed for a breakthrough, sparked by shot attempts from Matheus Nunes and Inaki Terra, whose sharp strike in the eighty-first minute forced a save from the Panthers. Defensively, Salvador Fernandez, Roman Magnanelli, and Mateus Rezende remained disciplined, ensuring a clean second half without a penalty card. After a hard-fought second half, Scots and Panthers end the battle in a 0-0 tie.
