Paragould, AR – Scots continue their momentum from this past weekend by scoring an impressive 37 runs in todays double header against the Crowleys Ridge Pioneers. Scots advance to 17-5 on the season.
Game 1
Lyon College 13, Crowleys Ridge College 4
Scots secured a commanding 13-4 victory over the Crowley's Ridge Pioneers. The Scots' offense was headlined by
Eli Marcotte and
Ashton Compton, who both provided consistent pressure at the plate; Marcotte finished with two hits and four RBIs, including a crucial two-run double in the second, while Compton went 3-for-4 with two doubles and two RBIs. After the Pioneers narrowed the gap to a single run by the sixth, Lyon dismantled their bullpen in the seventh.
Jarius Edwards was a spark plug throughout, reaching base multiple times, stealing a bag, and driving in two runs during the final surge.
Landon Swallow also came up big with a two-RBI single that helped break the game open late.
Braden Bramlett showed elite plate discipline, reaching base four times via walks and hit-by-pitches while adding a sacrifice fly. On the mound,

Tyler Hahn had a career day at the plate, driving in seven runs while hitting two home runs, including a three-run shot in the seventh to seal the win. After the Pioneers narrowed the lead in the fourth, Lyon responded with a massive 12-run fifth inning. During this surge,
Aidan Linson delivered a clutch two-RBI single, and
Kooper McCoy added a two-run single of his own.
Ashton Compton remained a consistent threat, finishing with two hits and scoring three times, while
Caleb Collins sparked the bottom of the order with two hits and an RBI. On the mound,
Garrett McClain earned the win in relief, navigating a high-pressure middle stretch to keep the Scots ahead. Other key contributors included
