Eli Marcotte singled and
Tyler Hahn drew a walk,
Landon Swallow delivered the game's decisive blow—a towering three-run home run that cleared the bases and reclaimed a 5-4 lead for Lyon. Marcotte finished the day with two hits and a stolen base, while
Jarius Edwards also contributed on the basepaths with a steal of his own. On the mound, starter
Aidan Linson provided a strong foundation, racking up six strikeouts over 7.1 innings of work while allowing only one earned run. Following a brief appearance by
Thomas Irwin,
Parker Paschal entered the game in relief to shut the door on the Owls. Paschal earned the win by throwing 1.2 scoreless innings, allowing just one hit and striking out one to seal the victory.
