St. Louis, MO - With two runners in the top 31, the Lyon College men's cross country team placed fifth out of six teams in the Webster College Opener.
Bryce Barry and
Gavin Bush both finished within the top half of total runners.
Barry led the team with a final time of 23:49.1 to finish 20th overall, he is Lyon College's only top 20 runner. Bush followed on with a time of 24:49.9, finishing 31st to round out the top half.
Daniel Thomas then finished 37th with a time of 25:26.2, slightly behind
Collin Orvin placed 39th finishing in 25:33.7.
Noah Cordes came in 45th (26:08.0),
Austin Young placed 46th (26:18.9), and
Jakobe Alcorn placed 54th (27:48.6)
Scots will run next in the Lyon College Invitational in Batesville, Arkansas on Sep. 5 at 6:15 PM.
