ST. LOUIS, Missouri - Five Lyon College Scots baseball players were selected to the SLIAC All-Conference team and to the All-Sportsmanship team for the 2025 season.
Braden Bramlett,
Kooper McCoy,
Landon Swallow and
Eli Marcotte made the SLIAC All-Conference third team, while
Brayden Anderson was picked for the SLIAC All-Sportsmanship team.
As a team, Lyon College finished the regular season 20-20 overall and were fourth place with a 9-9 record in the SLIAC for 2025.Â
Bramlett played left field for the Scots (.375 batting average, 27 games played, 64 at-bats, 18 runs, 24 hits, four doubles, one home run and 16 runs batted in).
McCoy was the catcher for Lyon (.364 batting average, 40 games played, 143 at-bats, 37 runs, 52 hits, 13 doubles, three triples, five home runs, 40 runs batted in).
Swallow played third base for the Scots. (.346 batting average, 39 games played, 127 at-bats, 25 runs, 44 hits, 10 doubles, two triples, three home runs, 29 runs batted in).
Marcotte was the right fielder for Lyon College (.331 batting average, 39 games played, 121 at-bats, 42 runs, 40 hits, eight doubles, one triple, eight home runs, 34 runs batted in).
Anderson, who will be graduating this year, was a pitcher for Lyon College (2-1 pitching record, 17 appearances, one start, 29.2 innings pitched,13 strike outs).
