BATESVILLE, Arkansas -- Lyon College football set to host Texas Lutheran University for first Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) home game.

History will be made at Pioneer Stadium in Batesville on Saturday night, as the Scots' match-up vs. Texas Lutheran will be their first time as host for an SCAC football game.

The Scots (1-2) opened their season with a 48-28 on the road against Grinnell College, and have since dropped back-to-back games against McMurry University on the road, 48-6 and then Howard Payne University in last week's home opener, 41-14. The Bulldogs (2-1) opened their season by defeating Trinity University (TX), a team that was ranked #13 in the country at the time, 35-20. They followed that up by defeating Centenary College at home, 31-8 and lost to McMurry University last week on the road, 31-10.

Saturday's game is slated for a 2:00 PM kickoff at Pioneer Stadium in Batesville.
