CARLINVILLE, Illinois -- Lyon College volleyball wins the first of two back-to-back games at Blackburn College.
The Scots (9-1, 3-0) remain unbeaten in SLIAC conference play as they defeat Blackburn (1-13, 0-3) by a final of 3-2. This was the tenth match of the season for Lyon College volleyball, and it was the first match that went to five sets.
Junior middle blocker
Mollie McCoy led the way for the Scots in kills (18), freshman setter
Caroline Snow had the most assists (21), sophomore defensive specialist
Marti Flores had the most digs (16), and McCoy along with senior middle blocker
Mikhayla Wright each picked up three blocks. Senior outside hitter
Kylee Sabella also had a great showing, putting up 13 kills, 13 digs, and two assists.

The Scots will return to action tomorrow night as they'll stay in Carlinville for another match against Blackburn, that match is also set for a 6:00 PM start.
