BATESVILLE, Arkansas -- Lyon College volleyball hosted the Pioneers of Crowley's Ridge College on Tuesday night.
The match started at 6:00 PM, and saw the Scots (6-1) defeat the Pioneers (1-3) in three straight sets at Becknell Gymnasium, by final scores of 25-18, 25-19, and 25-15.
Stat leaders for the Scots included sophomore middle blocker
Keeley Beary, who led the Scots in both kills (8) and blocks (1). Sophomore defensive specialistÂ
Marti Flores led the Scots in digs (10), and senior outside hitter
Kylee Sabella posted six digs of her own while also tying with sophomore defensive specialist
Olivia Locke, as they each put up three aces. Freshman setter
Caroline Snow also had a great performance, leading the Scots in assists (13) while also garnering four digs.
The Scots return to action this weekend as they will open up SLIAC conference play with a tri-match featuring both Webster University and Spalding University. The tri-match will start at 10:00 AM on Saturday.
