ST. LOUIS, Missouri - The Lyon College Scots softball team lost a 3-0 decision to the Webster Gorlocks in the first game of what should have been a double-header in the SLIAC on Sunday afternoon in St. Louis.
Due to storms in the area at the time of the second game, the field surface was deemed unsafe to play on.
The Scots (11-12, 4-3) only had three hits in the first game.Â
The Warlocks scored one run in the bottom of the first inning, one run in the bottom of the fourth inning and added a run in the bottom of the sixth inning.Â

Olivia Orf and MK Duffield got the three hits for the Scots. Voth's hit came in the top of the first inning with one out and it went to left field, but she was left on base. Orf got her hit on a single to right field in the top of the fourth inning with two outs and Duffield followed with a single to left field, but Orf was thrown out at the plate trying to score.
