UNIONTOWN, Pennsylvania -- Lyon College volleyball ended the 2024 season with a second consecutive USCAA National runner-up finish.

The Scots took on Shaw University in the USCAA National Championship match, and fell 3-0 to finish their tournament with a record of 2-2, with both losses coming from Shaw.

Statistical leaders for the Scots in the National Championship match included Kylee Sabella with eight kills, Madeline Hopson with 13 assists, and Cristen Cleveland with eight digs. Sabella tied with Mikhayla Wright in total blocks with three each, and Cleveland tied with Camryn Dawley with each garnering one ace.

The 2024 Lyon College volleyball team finished their season with a 20-9 record, including a 10-6 record in SLIAC conference play. The Scots reached the 20-win mark for the first time in the Coach Kortney Cunningham era, and it is also the first time Scots volleyball has reached that mark since the 2019 season.
