UNIONTOWN, Pennsylvania -- Lyon College volleyball takes on Shaw University to open pool play at the USCAA Championships.

The Scots (18-7) enter this year's tournament as the #3 seed. They finished their 2024 regular season with a final conference tri-match at Eureka College this past Saturday, and saw the Scots take down both Eureka and Spalding Univeristy in straight sets, finishing with an 10-6 record in SLIAC play. 

The Shaw Bears (23-4) enter this year's tournament as the #2 seed. They finished their 2024 regular season this past Monday when they closed conference play with a 3-1 victory over Winston-Salem State, finishing with a 14-1 record in CIAA conference play.

This will be the first time that these two teams have ever met on the court.
First serve is set for 1:30 PM CT at the Penn State Fayette Main Gym.
