ST. LOUIS, Missouri - The Lyon College women's basketball team was blitzed by first-year Washington University head coach Lisa Stone's Bears 119-49 on Friday night in the first round of the McWilliams Tournament at WashU Fieldhouse.

The Scots (3-2) were led by Natalya Kaza with 11 points, Savanna Lopez hit for 10 points, Samantha Taylor had five points, Izabel Soto scored five points, Molly Mason had four points, Haven Cooper had four points Olivia Wallace scored four points, Jewel Walley hit a three-pointer, Savannah Stout scored a basket and Chasity Taylor had a free throw. Mia Winston, Alexis Shelton, Emily Walley, Olivia Jones and Faith James played in the game, but did not score.

Lyon was outscored 24-9 in the first quarter, 32-10 in the second quarter, 26-11 in the third quarter and 37-19 in the fourth period.

The Scots will face Transylvania in the consolation game at 3 p.m. on Saturday.
