BATESVILLE, Arkansas -
Tiago Donadon got his second goal of the match in the 51st minute to lead the Lyon College Scots to a 2-1 win over the Blackburn College Beavers in SLIAC soccer action at Huser Field in Batesville on Saturday morning.
Donadon got his first goal at the 40:26 mark of the first half to break a scoreless tie and it was off an assist by
Erik Oliveira.Â
Blackburn came back to tie the game in the final seconds of the first half.
Then, a barrage of goal kicks from the Scots resulted in Donadon's second goal, which was assisted by
Matheus Nunes.
The Scots improved to 5-5-2 on the season and 3-1 in the SLIAC.
Oliveira had one shot on-goal of his three shots,
Gustavo Giesbrecht had two shots on-goal of his three shots,
Taylor Prater had one shot on-goal and Donadon had six shots, two of them on goal and both were netted.
Adryan Ledezma played goalie for the Scots and had three saves in the match.
