EUREKA, Illinois - Both the men's and women's wrestling teams traveled to Eureka College to wrestle in a dual on Saturday, January 27th. Though the Scots fell short of victory, the dual consisted of some pretty exciting match ups. 

Freshman, Sidney Milligan started off the dual on a high for the women's team as she defeated her opponent by decision, 10-1, in the 155 pound weight class.

Ty Ferguson took his opponent down in the last 5 seconds of his match to clinch a win over his opponent after being down by 1 point. Ferguson won by decision 17-15 at 125 pounds. Ariston Bartley got to work quickly pinning his opponent in the first period of his match at 184 pounds. 

The men's wrestling team will return to the mats January 31st, in a dual hosted by the University of the Ozarks. The women's team will compete next in the SLIAC Championships February 16th which will be host by Eureka College.
