KENNETT, Missouri - The Lyon College Scots men's golf team is tied with Williams Baptist for first place at the Kennett Country Club after the first round of play with a team score of 298.
Ryan Kriz is also tied as the overall leader of the tournament after shooting a 1-under 71 for the first round and led Lyon College's A team.
Tyler Doucet shot an even par 72,
Jackson Baughman came with a three-over 75,
Beau Perry shot an 80 and
Wes Lange came in with an 82 score.
For the Lyon College B team,
Manav Perfecto led with an 82, Bode Miss and
Kyle Denison both shot 87, Alex Gleason shot a 92 and Madden Bently came in at 95.
Jackson Fikes also shot a 91, but did not particpate in the team scores.Â
The second and final round will be played on Tuesday, beginning at 9 a.m.
