CONWAY, Arkansas - The Lyon College Scots soccer needed only one goal to defeat the Hendrix Warriors on Friday night at Warrior Stadium in Conway.
A goal by Filipe Santana De Oliveira at the 29:28 mark of the first half put the Scots ahead 1-0. Oliveira was assisted by
Andrei Galca on the goal.Â
Lyon had 14 shots on goal during the game to three for Hendrix. Seven shots on goal were taken by the Scots.Â
Galca had three shots, Erik Oliveria had two shots,
Matheus Nunes had one shot and de Oliveiria, who had two shots on goal.
Tomas Biasi had three shots and two on goal shots, while
Cristian Del Gobbo had three shots on goal. Goal keeper
Gabriel Rangel made one save for the contest.Â
Overall, the Scots took 14 shots with seven on goal, compared to Hendrix who had three shots and one on goal kick.Â
The Scots take on Rhodes College at Warrior Field on Sunday afternoon.
