FULTON, Missouri - The Lyon College volleyball team dropped a 3-1 decision to the Westminster College Blue Jays on Thursday night in SLIAC action.
The Scots (13-15, 7-6) lost the first set 29-27, won the second set 25-14, lost the third set 25-17 and lost the fourth set 25-16.
Isabella Beasley and
Paeton Tucker led Lyon College with 13 kills each, while
Kylee Sabella had 11.
Marti Flores had three ace serves, while Beasley and Sabella both had one.
Keeley Beary had four blocks for points,
Bethany Williams had three blocks and Beasley had two blocks.
Madeline Hopson had 26 assists, Beasley had 12 and Flores had . Flores led in digs with18, Tucker had 17 and Beasley had 13 in the match.
Only eight Scots were scored in the match.
Janiya Vanderpool had five kills as Lyon totaled 51 kills to go with 17 errors and 46 assists.
