PRINCIPIA, ILLINOIS - On Friday and Saturday, the Lyon College Scots men's and women's indoor track teams competed in the 2023 Principia Relays.

In the events, the Lyon College A team won the men's 1,600 spring medley in a time of 3:59.36.
In individual results, Jakobe Alcorn placed 10th in the high jump with a 1.70. 
Lana Ballard placed ninth in the women's 60-meter dash in a time of 8.3. Ballard was also 14th in the women's 200 meter dash. She was 12th in the women's 300 meter dash in a time of 45.95.
Gabriel Morris was 38th in the men's 60-meter dash in a time of 7.73. Morris was 40th in the men's 200 meter dash in a time of 26.33.
Avery Sterling was eighth in the men's 60-meter hurdles and placed seventh in the finals with a 9.65 time. He was also 33rd in the men's 300 meter dash in a time of 44.47.
Marlon Durand was 27th in the men's 200 meter dash in a time of 24.64 and he was 27th in the 300 meter dash with a time of 42.00.
Matthew Cooks was 39th in the men's 200 meter dash in a time of 26.33. 
Kaylee Lambe was 22nd in the women's one mile run in a time of 6:18.69. 
Aziza Takhi was 26th in the women's shot put event with a 7.79 throw.
Haeley Pines was 11th in the women's 500-meter dash with a time of 1:30.75. Pines was also 17th in the 300 meter dash in a time of 45.99
Madeline Hopson was 15th in the women's 500-meter dash in a time of 1:31.61. Hopson was 29th in the 300 meter dash in a time of 51.21.
Joseph Peal finished 19th in the men's 3,000 meter run in a time of 13:24.54.
