BATESVILLE, Ark. - The Lyon College women's soccer team dropped its first American Midwest Conference match on Saturday afternoon to the 16th-ranked Columbia Cougars 10-0 at Huser Field in Batesville.

The Scots (1-8-0, 0-1)  had three shots on goal from Kate Whitenton, Taylor Hammons and Allison Byars. Goalkeeper Rhyan Hioki had 20 saves in the match. 

Hioki, Addy Lovell and Alexis Whitley played the entire game. Abby Ponder, Hailey Williams, Alli Mead, Emily Betzold and Ashlyn Winters started for the Scots. Substitutes included Deaiveon Carter, Destinee Flowers, Alice Pellham, Trinity Arrambide and Julianna Novakovic for Lyon College.
