BATESVILLE, Ark. - The Lyon College Scots men's soccer team battled to a 1-1 tie with Louisiana Christian on Thursday afternoon at Huser Field.

The tie broke a six-game losing streak for the Scots (1-6-2) and it was their second tie of the season.

Leonardo Galdino scored Lyon College's only goal at the 55:19 mark of the second half, but as focused as the Scots were in the game, a small mistake allowed Louisiana Christian to net a goal at the 74:38 mark to tie the game.

The Scots were credited with 12 shots and nine of those were on-goal kicks. Yannick Zwiebel had one shot, Mauro Garrentano had two shots and one on goal, Fortunato Hernandez had one shot, Aidan McGeown had three shots and one on goal, Martin Esquivel had one shot on goal, Felipe Teruel took two shots on goal and Galdino had two shots on goal with one finding the net.

Lyon College goalie Dan Huff had five saves in the match.

The Scots will be in action again on Saturday at Texas A&M-Texarkana.
